Hi, 

 

That's right, I recorded this one in broad daylight this morning. Yes, you can image Mars in the daytime and long after sunrise.

Hi Sandy,

 

It was captured more than an hour after sunrise.

 

I actually like this (softer) mirrored rendition more for some reason. Image scale is 100%.

Very impressive! How long after sunrise have you found imaging to still be viable?

Great to hear from you! The last several nights the seeing has been good here but I too just can't get motivated to go outside and image. I will plan on going out tonight though for sure, maybe?

Hi David,

 

I can successfully image the planet Mars for up to two hours after sunrise if the transparency is very good like it was for this Mars video capture.
