That is a scary thought!
Now that I have both together it is not as bad as my memory. The 152 is about 10lbs heaver.

My AT72ED2 didn't come with finder scope bracket tho I had ordered one separately...it still has not arrived.
But, I didn't wait and bought the Astromania bracket from Amazon on recommendation!
It worked just fine and arrived in 2 days!!!

Nice pair of binos you got there. They look kind of heavy, though. Do you find that you need to use a tripod?

My arrived today AT80ED came with a finder mounting shoe. Nice surprise.
Received my AT 80ED a couple of weeks ago - no shoe.

No shoe with mine either. Wasn't expecting one, nothing on Astronomics indicated a shoe was suppose to come with the scope.

I don't know about the smaller scopes but my 130 had a finder shoe on it.

Yeah, according to the description all the EDT triplets should have the finder shoe.

There was no update in the weekly Astronomics email I got on Friday.

I was asking about a AT80EDT and I received this on Friday:
"Our next shipment should be around January currently. That is as long as the current trend holds up."
Posted 29 November 2020 - 03:06 PM
It’s been a few weeks since “Late Dec. or possibly into Jan.” was predicted for the AT92 and AT102EDL.
Anyone have updated info?
I called them to check on the AT102EDL as I had received an email from them saying it had shipped. Apparently, it had not shipped and they have issues with their system. They said the scopes are on the way from Taiwan and hopefully if they don't get caught up in customs forever, they're hoping to ship before Christmas but if not, then the first week of January.

So they are "on the water" so to speak? I hope they don't get too tangled up in the Christmas rush. We're getting closer!

I think that with the last couple of shipments of A-T refractors, it has taken a few weeks to clear customs.

If I recall correctly, our orders for the last batch of scopes were charged against our accounts about the time the shipment reached the U.S. (and entered customs)...

I just ordered a 115EDT..... card was charged almost immediately. I'm not in a huge rush, but hoping to see a ship confirm soon..... Meanwhile, time to sell off a few things to pay for this scope.

I just got an email saying they have the 115EDT in stock. I was charged immediately for the full order price even though the scope hasn't arrived. I am assuming they will also issue the CN discount once they ship the product to me.

Did you mean to write "AT115EDT?"
I thought you said earlier that you were waiting for an AT102EDL?
Just reread your previous post, looks like the AT102EDL is currently in transit to the USA?
Bruce.

Oops, yeah 115EDT is in stock. I ordered the 102EDL. I was giving the previous poster a heads up.

I wrote to Astronomics, I don't think Mike would mind if I pass this on:
He expects the AT102EDL to arrive in the US on December 7th!
Delivery time then depends on how long it takes for them to clear customs.
Also, as I recall, earlier reports stated that the AT92 should be part of the same shipment as the AT102EDL.
Bruce.

Bruce,
Don't forget to factor truck shipping time from the West Coast to Oklahoma. Astronomics has no control over shipping times and customs so they can only give estimates. A December 7th arrival in the US of December 7th could mean deliveries could be made later this month but don't be surprised if they slip to January.
Once Astronomics gets shipments into their facility, they do a great job of turning them around and shipping to their customers, that is usually just a 1-3 day turn around.
Basically I am saying an arrival in the USA of December 7th is a best guess but please don't forget to factor in all the other delays of customs, trucking companies, weather, and the will of other factors known only to God ...
I'm not trying to be a downer I just want you and everyone else to have realistic expectations.
I'm an extremely happy Astronomics customer but I know from experience what delays occur.

I need to mount risers on my AT115 and have been looking for screws that are the correct size/pitch. I *thought* the size I wanted was 1/4"-20 and ordered some, but they do not fit the threaded holes on the 115's tube rings.
Does anyone know what size these are - or better yet, just a simple part number for what will work? I need it to be 3/4" - 7/8" long to go through the dovetail, the risers I want to use, and still seat nicely in the tube ring.

They are M6-1.0. 20mm length should work.
