I am glad I ordered my AT72EDII when it was $469.  It has gone up $20.

I’m on the AT92 wait list too. I spoke with Mike on the 23rd and he shared that the shipment was no longer stuck in customs, and he expected to receive it around now, depending how the long holiday weekend affects shipping. Not sure how long it takes Astronomics to turn them around, but I think you can set your hopes sooner than Jan/end. Fingers crossed!

Sounds like great news .

I figured I would set my expectations far enough out to be sure, and then be surprised if it came in sooner.

Barring a nasty snow storm in Oklahoma, Mike will do his best to get these out ASAP.

So maybe a early Jan delivery.

Happy New Years!!

take care

Steve

Has anyone heard any news on the AT102EDL? Possibly a date they might start shipping? They have been on American soil for almost 4 weeks so we should start hearing some good news in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully.

You might want to give Astonomics a call, as they are usually happy to give updates when asked.

I can’t say whether the 102s will be in the same shipment, however I was told that the Flatteners for the AT60EDs were due in sometime in February, so maybe then.

I thought about calling today and checking on the AT102ED's, but this is the king of all Mondays being the monday after new year so I figure they are busy enough, its a good exercise in patience  as well ( which I sorely need).

Cheers

Brian

Yeah, my finger has hovered over my keypad several times but I keep thinking how busy Mike is due to the holidays. That and I am a coward and was hoping someone else had called. The closer we get, the harder it is to be patient.  Soon.

I talked with Astronomics yesterday about the AT92 I have on order.

They said they are waiting on the truck for delivery of the shipment.

Note: they had a big snow storm recently which delayed a lot of traffic coming from the west coast.

Just have to be patient a little longer ....

take care

I believe the AT102ED and the AT102EDL are in different shipments (in regards to Astronomics receiving them).

I didn't even catch that, obviously. :) I hope it comes this month. I would love to get some sky time in.

Received email from Astronomics today, here is part:

Also, there is a truck that should be in Oklahoma City today, fingers crossed.  That truck contains a shipment of Astro-Tech that has been in this country clearing customs since 12/7/20.  Hopefully they will be able to deliver the goods to us on Monday and we can start getting out scopes to everyone that has patiently waited.  I will say we are unable to get solid delivery dates from any manufacturer currently, even people we deal directly with overseas.  I have had some Astro-Tech products on order from one particular company since April with no real date in sight.

AT102EDL at $1095.  We might have a few left, as in 1-2.

AT92 at $1795

AT80ED $399

Astro-Tech  125mm long Handle for our smaller instruments.  $29.95

Astro-Tech 232mm Long Handle for our larger instruments  $49.95

Astro-Tech Hard Case for the AT60ED and AT72EDII  $49.95

I also have an air shipment on its way that should be here next week, fingers crossed.

Astro-Tech 2" Field Flattener  $129.95

Astro-Tech 0.8X Reducer Field Flattener $119.95

I talked to Astronomics today. They said the shipment of AT102EDL scopes is delayed. There were issues with the shipping to the main hub. They hope to get them there this week, then ship to their offices shortly after. So likely looking into February before anyone gets one.

Bummer. I would imagine Mike is pulling his hair out, hard to run a business under these conditions.

Your AT-115 looks perfect on the AVX mount.

I hope the 125 is also excellent.

I think they are selling out the majority of their Astro-Tech refractor shipments through pre-orders to those who are waiting patiently, so my guess is they are doing well. The shipments are coming in on a periodic basis, not withstanding the delays in clearing customs.
