Arp 125 consists of UGC 10491 (VV 501 and others), the peculiar galaxy above PGC 58674. These are part of Arp’s ‘E and E-like Galaxies – Close to and Perturbing Spirals’ class and appear to be approximately 391 million light-years away in Hercules. Depend on the source, the system also contains more galaxies – I can see three or four.

Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours

Imaged June 19th and 20th, 2020 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.

Yes, very deep. I like these shots that are not normally imaged. Arps and Hicksons are especially nice. Thanks for this, Dan.
