I want to be able to piggyback my ED80 on top of my C11 in case the seeing is so bad that the C11 is no good for planetary and I can try capturing smaller images with the ED80 without the hassle of dismounting the C11 from my EQ6 mount.

Here's a pic of the ADM bar and the dovetail of the ED80.

It's an 18" long MDS-C11- MDS Series Dovetail Bar.

Can anyone suggest a method of mounting the ED80 onto the ADM bar? Is there some kind of intermediary clamp available somewhere?

Many thanks!

Kev

pgrunwald posted this image.  I have a similar setup on my LX200 but I did not have a picture.  ADM bar mounted on top with a set of ADM Vixen guidescope rings and clamps.

If you didn't want them to be aligned, you could attach the clamps to the dovetail that might already be mounted to the ED80, so the same setup without the rings.

Try these:   You will want to put a better dovetail bar on the scope as well.

Did you mean to attach a pic?

OK.  Now I know that links are disappearing when I place them in a post.  This isn't the first time this has happened recently.

Here's the link (hopefully):  https://www.stellarvue.com/risers/ .  Otherwise, the link is to the Stellarvue risers.

Great, thanks very much. That's by far the cheapest method I've seen so far.
