hello, i was trying to image the milky way right above the densely polluted bridge, the quality is trash so that's no the focus

However, I spot these strange lines on the image, what would it be? They are mostly red and blue, the amount of these lines seems to vary in each image. Is it from the sensor or something related to my hardware??

thanks!!

Those are hot pixels and is common. You didn’t mention anything about your setup or processing.

are you using autoguiding? You need to dither.

are you using flats/bias/darks?

i was using nothing, just a random trial

used a cls filter, stacked 30 images of iso 1600, 10secs at f/5 and 2 darks in sequator

Is using flats/bias/darks the way to reduce these lines?
