The madness continues! I keep waking up and there are Jupiter and Saturn 'grinning' at me! Today, the seeing was very frustrating. It was unseasonably cool this morning (low 60's F) after a beautifully mild weekend for 2nd week of July..but not totally unusual. Perhaps there was some thermal issues.I haven't pulled the cooler out for my after midnight sessions as of yet, may have to change that. In spite of this nice image, the seeing frankly kicked my a$$. Individually, the images are rough, but 8 of them in WinJupos made for a decent result.

Great image you have here Steve. The processing is very pleasing. Hoping for a good night/morning here. We'll see.

That's a nice image! That's quite a strong colored cloud in the NEB - I noticed a darker area there on the 11th but it really seems to be standing out a lot more now. Very interesting.

Steve; what settings did you use for this image set?

I'm luv'n my 1994 C11, but I haven't quite gotten it under control yet. Still waiting for a morning of reasonable seeing. (Aren't we all?)

Thanks!

John,

~9.5ms, 320 gain gave me about 60% histogram. Yeah, it takes a while to bend a new scope to your will! lol.gif
