I finally got an opportunity to image this bright comet! It has been cloudy in the eastern skies in my area the past several days. I drove 10 miles east of my home to frame the Superstition Mountains in the foreground. But wasn't aware of the power lines.... I should have planned better.
I don't have a lot of experience in this type pf photography, I guess you could say I "winged it".

My first shot of this comet had power lines in it, didn't see them in the dark but they show up nicely in the image! Nice shot Mike!

Thanks Bret! I knew they were there but I didn't have time to change my location.

I didn't even notice the power lines. I love the effect of the clouds.
