With 50 x 2-minute integration of RGB from behind an NIR filter (Astrodon L filter), I was able to produce the attached image. It was captured with an ASI 294 MC Cooled on an ED80T F6 refractor tracking the skies with an Atlas Pro which was guided by PHD2 (for practice purposes only).
Darks at -10c, gain of 120 and 120s exposure.
Flats at -10c, gain of 120 and 0.3s exposure.
Flat Darks at -10c, gain of 120 and 0.3s exposure.
Flats were calibrated with the flat darks and then integrated.
Lights were calibrated with the master dark and master flat without any optimization, debayered, aligned and then integrated.
I have a couple of issues with this image:
 the stars near the left of the field seem to be elongated but stars near the right field are not. I don't know why this should be.
 nebulousity is not that strong relative to the strength of the stars. I don't see nearly as much dust as I had expected.
I will be gathering more data tonight.
