Little cloudy evening project, had the Nexus II and fluid head waiting for a project, works a treat and cost less than 2 cases of beer for the bits and pieces. Need to make a wedge really to make viewing more comfortable.

Fluid head will comfortably take 5kg’s, already working and its big brother smile.gif

Cheers
Guy

Interesting!  Curious what encoders you're using that are compatible with your Nexus II and it looks like you did some custom machining maybe?

Hi

Thank you for the kind comment..

Its a VT3510 Tripod Head ( manfrotto knock off ), I didnt want to spend a lot of money on something that might be used once or twice.. Available on Amazon and ebay.. £45

Actually it is a very good fluid head I've no complaints..

Thanks!  I have AD encoders on my Twilight and run SS+ via a Nexus II, so it sounds like I'd just need another set of encoders and RJ11s.
