Taken on 7/30/20 with a '92 Field Model "Q" and both  Neximage5  and ASI18MC cameras. Clouds were crazy.  Here, by the foothills. of the mountains, the clouds just-magically appear- in a matter of minutes. The first two photos are using the ZWOASI178MC, the other photos(slightly larger scale) are taken with a Neximage5.

Did you take those last night toddeo? Lots of contrast and color, really nice images. I was out last night, studied the moon quite a while, and Jupiter and Saturn. Wasn't able to go too high magnification except on the moon.

Yes-took them last night. Had to wait for the newly formed clouds to move out-between captures.  I didn't realize how bad the "mountain" clouds would be- before We moved here from the desert(8 miles- due East).

Great images!! You've sold me on the NexImage 5. I think I'm buying one tonight! I tend to use lower frame rates anyway. I wonder if it's compatible with Windows 10 and SharpCap though.

Thanks-all!  Terry, I have used the Ni5 with Windows 10.  I think I have also used Sharpcap with it. The software- iCap5 which comes with the Ni5 is super easy and is no frills. I tend to just use  iCap5 when using the Ni5 camera. You can pick up the Neximage5-used for as little as $60.

I just bought one for $100.  I also found a NexImage 10 reasonably priced. It should be fun and interesting trying these two out to see what they can do. The specs are in favor of the ZWO, but images with the NexImage5 don't lie (I see more detail in the cloud belts and ovals), so we'll see how it goes! The Nex 10 is supposedly very noisy, but my curiousity compels me on. I'll be over-sampling with it, but it doesn't hurt to try. I really want the ZWO 290 MC because of it's excellent sensitivity, but they seem very scarce right now unless you buy direct from China. I really like the ZWOs I currently have (174MM & 178MM with LRGB and filter wheel, 178MC).

Really nice images, Toddeo.

I'm really surprised how nice your seeing must be just a few hours south of me. Here in Scottsdale, I can hardly get any decent images that don't look like a flamethrower is in front of my lens!
