Here is a potential good deal on a Meade 8" LX3 for someone in Missouri: https://www.shopgood...m/Item/99456118

Tube needs some work, but it will probably work fine.

Two things to pay attention to. The seller has a feedback score of (1); joined in April of this years. Do not be afraid. That makes it actually safer to buy from this seller than average. Ebay holds payments to newbies in escrow and does not release the funds to the buyer until 1. a certain amount of time has passed, or 2. the buyer leaves positive feedback. If something goes wrong the buyer will with very high likely hood get a refund from ebay.

The shipping is a maybe a bit low, ya think?  $8.20 or $8.25, $9.xx to the east coast. This may result in the seller going bonkers when he finds out actual shipping might cost $150 or over $200 to ship.

I suspect the seller when listing on eBay got confused when entering shipping parameters.

Oops, a third thing. I'm not familiar with Taks. Is this mount missing a counterweight bar and weights?

Hard to believe that CN212 is sitting on an EM10.   I doubt that mount can handle that scope.    The EM 10 is like  15 lbs payload rated.  That scope is like 30 lbs.  And yes there is no counterweight bar.

There are a million for sale here and there.  That did seem like a good deal.  You gotta jump fast on anything priced good.
