Anyone have suggestions for a good carry case / bag for the Skywatcher EQM-35 mount?

Cannot recall the size of one of those but search out golf bags. Better go visit a golf shop and look. Measure up the EQM-35 first.

Should be about the right size and they have decent carry straps these days.

May get away with a bag for a half set - more compact.

About the best I can think of, and no idea why I thought of one.

golf bag for just the mount? seems way too big for that.

golf bag for the tripod maybe, but i don't really need a bag for the tripod.

I discovered that the polystyrene mouldings that the mount was delivered in were an exact fit - and I mean exact in width and depth - to a ROC flight case.

There is even some headroom for the leg spreader, etc on top of the polystyrene.

The company I bought mine from on eBay has stopped listing them.

Check out:

which I think is the same. Please check the dimensions before buying. If it's not this one, it's something very similar.

Cheers, Des

Is there any shorter tripod that can be used with the EQM-35 ? I will be traveling to another country and I don't want to carry this big tripod.
