My first image at a true Class 1 dark sky site. Made the trip and spent a windy week at Merritt Reservoir for the Nebraska Star Party. It was canceled, but it was my first time going, and there were still a bunch of people that came. This is taken with my ES 80MM, FCD100 Triplet with an unmodified Nikon D5600, guided by an ASI120 on an EQ6-R Pro. 60 exposures of 300 seconds, whittled down to 52 exposures after a few satellites and a couple errant clouds, but still over 4 hours of exposure data! I am still tinkering with it (only a dozen curve stretches so far and using Topaz DeNoise/Clear). The absence of light pollution is SO noticeable in processing......I have actually ENJOYED processing this image!! :)

Looks like you have some really good data right there!

If you don't mind, I would suggest correcting the color balance before applying curve stretches to the image, it's very tough to correct it once the image has been stretched.

That looks like some nice data. Would you like to make it available for others to try?

Thanks, I may go back and try that, still learning how to process images most efficiently....

I will put something in dropbox.... my ask is this,  I get a copy of your finished processed image,  and credit for the data if you share it :)  As I am new to imaging and processing,  I would like to see what that data could turn in to.... :)

I don't share data that belongs to other people except here in this forum for you and those that read your thread, and you are certainly welcome to whatever result I get
