The seeing was generally poor, but we had unexpectedly clear weather for awhile which was a real surprise. So, I couldn't resist giving it a shot. 

 

Here are two images taken with the Q3.5 and ZWO 178MC camera. Mount was a Davis & Sanford lightweight tripod.

 

Jupiter was at 27 degrees elevation and Saturn at 28 degrees.

 

Hope to get some better seeing soon!

Nice captures! Colors on Jupiter look very nice.

Thanks! I think they look a bit over saturated now that I see them again. I don't think my computer's colors are calibrated well when it comes to translating the correct hues to the web.

 

By the way, I received the NexImage 5 today and had a brief, and I do mean brief moment between clouds to get two captures. And those were only for maybe a minute and a half a piece. Posting in a few.
