Hello. I received the ADC from Omegon, and I don't know how to use it. The instructions are very, very short, short. I'll thank you to inform me of how the installation of the telescope is going... the levers, at the beginning together? Open? Looking up? Left/right?

I use it with ASICAp, how do I know it's regulated?
Thanks

Hi Julian,

So many questions - doesn't sound like a good choice of supplier if they don't provide any hints on usage :(

Do you know if it's right-handed or left-handed?

You will start with the levers "horizontal" and together. I put horizontal in quotes because it depends on the horizon as viewed through the scope from the position of the camera. You want them to be horizontal to the horizon in that manner. Easy for a SCT, refractor or a Mak, less so for a Newtonian.

Then move the levers simultaneously apart until the dispersion is negated.  FireCapture has a tool to help with this - not sure about any other capture app.

Maybe somebody else has an Omegon and can comment on the handedness.

Truly, the info that comes with the ZSO is also very bad.

Here is a great tutorial on the ZSO, not sure if it helps on the Omegon:

I looked at the downloadable instructions from Omegon and they are pretty poor - it doesn't even mention the horizontal horizon.  Try the ZWO ones instead:
