What is going on with the ZWO website? Trying to a) download some software; and b) getting camera manual information and all I get is either not found or don't have permission to access. This has been going on for several days. Makes me wonder if anyone is home.....

I run systems for a living. Sometime things go wrong and we don't notice, and none of the customers say anything. They just wait around for it to magically get fixed. ASI may not know. Has anyone emailed them and told them their website has an issue?

Yep, just went to their site -- the main page works, but many of the sub-pages give 404 errors.

I emailed them and let them know (I run systems for a living, too!) smile.gif

Good thing I already had the contact email, because the "Contact Us" page also throws 404's.

I just emailed them. We'll see how long it takes. (I used info@astronomy-imaging-camera.com)

That address (info@astronomy-imaging-camera.com) failed. Does someone have a verified email address for ZWO?

support@astronomy-imaging-camera.com doesn't work either.

That's the one I used as well.  No bounce, but no reply yet.

At least they pulled their ascom 6.5 drivers they were pushing for a while. Not sure who thought it would be a good idea to push those out considering they weren't yet final and no 3rd party software is fully tested with it yet.

The ZWO site is often in flux. The more mainstream stuff is generally reliable but more "exotic" drivers/plug-ins such as X2 for Macintosh/Linux will flat-out disappear for months. For a while, non-Windows SkyX users were having to exchange bootleg installers like they were Grateful Dead recordings.

Hopefully, they'll note it and fix it.

Remember Taiwan is 13 hours ahead of the time in Chicago. So while we are awake, they are asleep.

I actually got an e-mail back, apologizing for the downtime, "Our site was being updated." :)
