Astrospheric has a nice map of the smoke also.

Click on layers at the top and one of the options is smoke.

Predicted temps for October's new moon week are looking quite tolerable.  While it's way too early to guess the smoke, clouds, and precip, I'm wondering how many of the usual suspects are planning to line up.

Weather permitting I'll be up there on the 15th to the 18th (which will make it 4 out of the last 5 new moon weekends).
