I have been playing with tone mapping and trying to get cleaner false colors for SHO combination.

I basically used two approaches to get less muddy colors and cleaner transitions: process starless images with Color Mask script in PI followed by local Curves adjustment, and then Selective Color correction in Photoshop.

There is obviously a lot of liberty that one can take in the process but I tried not to go overboard.
