Does the esprit 100 field flattener come threaded to accept 2" filters or will I need to use a filter drawer or EFW?  I image with OSC so i don't swap out much - just want to know what to expect. Manual doesn't mention anything so i figure it is a no.

No, it does not. The manual from the SW-USA site gives you all the thread sizes of the parts from the focuser to the T-ring they include.

When I had an 80 Esprit last year the flattener came with an 11mm ring spacer pre-attached (page 8 of the 80 esprit manual, can be downloaded online), the 100 Esprit has an 8mm spacer. The point of the spacer is so the remaining backfocus to fill comes down from 66mm to 55mm (63 to 55 on the 100), which is typical for DSLR. However, I found it accepted 2" filters screwed into it from flattener side and I imaged like that. I'm not sure if the 100's 8mm spacer allows the same, but I would think so unless it's just too short.

I would just shoot an email to SkyWatcherUSA, they were pretty responsive to me when I had an issue.

My Esprit100 flattener spacer does NOT have any 48mm female threads (smooth machining there on the inside where the 48mm T ring threads onto this piece). It looks like one could possibly put a filter into the 48mm T ring, though, if the filter were thin enough. My Esprit 100 is an older model (longer, nicer case, red lettering on the tube), so new designs may be different.

Esprit 100 does not have 2” filter thread. 120/150 has. FLO sells adapter for Esprit 100 that can house a 2 inch filter.
