Practicing captures and processing. Things are coming along.  Caught the three active regions and hoping the active Sun comes soon.  My flats are having less Newtons.  Have been using a zip-lock bag as a diffuser with good results.  Wish I could blend the limb a little better.  I using ImPPG, all tips welcome. The image is inverted and captured with a Lunt LS60 tilt tuned Ha scope with B1200 in single stack mode, ZWO ASI 174 mm camera and 3X barlow. SharpCap avi was processed in AutoStakkert, ImPPG and Photoshop. Best 100 of 1000 frames. Click images for full size.

Very nice images John.

Wish I could blend the limb a little better.

Double stack with 60 mm DS etalon to better equalize limb and disc brightness. You then will have no problem with the appropriate processing to get both disc and prominence details with a single image file.

John, Your 2nd image in B&W is my favorite. I guess I'm a B&W man although I do like color also.

Best.....Hank

For a single stack scope you did very well capturing the filaments and AR’s 😎
