The QHY 462 is kind of a cool camera.  Its a color camera which is usually not ideal for solar but at NIR all three pixels are nearly 90% active.  Other cameras are like this but none as high as the 462 and most other cameras have a built in UV/IR filter where the 462 does not.  I know what your thinking IR is not H-alpha but it does work to get the shots in both Cak and H-alpha so there's some degree of mystery to this that is beyond my knowledge.  I got this camera for planetary work and not really for solar but its cool to have one that I can use for times when I want to show folks what the Sun's.  Below is the Cak image. smile.gif

Excellent results Larry! Particularly the CaK.

I tested my new ASI462MC on the Sun in WL and Ha over the last couple of weeks and I have to say I was very impressed even for an OSC camera that was bought for Mars opposition later this year. It’s definitely way more sensitive in IR than my 224MC. Links to pictures below...pardon my UK seeing!
