Hi solarobserver,

Representing many beautiful observations during the holiday season, I show here two new observations.
First, you can see an object that approached the chromosphere very quickly. The movement I could be tracked real time on the screen. Note the clearly rounded defined shape at the beginning of the observation. The closer the drop of the chromosphere came, the more it dissolved.

Secondly, a deep Halpha observations in unfortunately bad seeing. Nevertheless, the contrast and sharpness was partly very good. This picture was taken in a double stacking process.

As I would expect, fantastic images.

Could not open the animation on the IPad , would have loved to see it.

Well done Harald. Very nice captures. (I couldn't open the animation on my chromebook, but I look forward to it when I get to my PC.)

Thanks again!
