you got the lunar V also. well done!

 

Oh, I see it now. I cropped the first image and added a green arrow to the V

I observed both the Lunar X and the Lunar V only last month - 27th July 2020 - using my William Optics 158 mm F/7 apochromatic refractor. 

The sky was somewhat cloudy, but some of it was blue thankfully. 

What else can we expect for Ireland? mad.gif

 

Still it was nice to see for half an hour before the rain came!

 

I always try to see both these lunar features once a year.
