I’m currently observing the Moon with the 17” classical Cassegrain at the Naylor Observatory. Rupes Recta (the Sraight Wall) is just east of the terminator and a lunar crater light ray is occurring in Maginus I believe.

I’m using magnifications of 116 and 170x.

The lunar crater light Ray has broadened a bit since I first noticed it.

l’ve been taking afocal shots of the ray, Rupes Recta, and other lunar features.

Here's a shot of the 17" classical Cassegrain that I took using my iPhone's Night Scene mode while I was observing the Moon.
