the ultima 5mm has no barlow? the ultrascopic 5mm i have does have a barlow, and the eye relief is very nice. everyone always says that the ultimas and ultrascopics are the same ep's, but i've always suspected that they're slightly different due to small variations in some published specs on them that i've read. my 7.5mm ultrascopic has the sharpest, clearest view i've ever seen in a high power ep. i've only viewed through the UO orthos a few times, but i prefer the ultrascopics by far.

The eyerelief of the Ultrascopic 5 mm is certainly more then 4 mm!! i think somewhere arround 8 of 9 mm. I can not live with an ep that has only 4 mm of eyerelief, i feel it is just to uncomfortable for me!!

Freddy,
Here's the link, http://groups.yahoo....lescopes/files/

Thanks Larry, took me a while but i downloaded the database. Seems that the ultrascopic 5mm has 6 mm of eyerelief so stated the database, it looks a bit more to me though
