As the title says, it was pretty decent last night in terms of seeing. Once again, warn continental air moving up from the south of the country leads to the best seeing here on the south east tip of Ireland. Here's the best pic and an animation of all 6 rgbs. I've also thrown in a capture using the Astronomik Pro Planet 807 IR filter.

I'm not sure what the colour variations in the animation are caused by but I'm not worried. Just happy to capture my best Mars to date.

Great detail, a well worked up image and a reward for a lot of nights of waiting for good seeing.

I meant to comment earlier Kevin - apologies!

Apart from the colour being a bit off, which can be accounted for in many ways (I've been "picked on" in our most recent thread - don't feel victimised  ) there is literally a ton of detail in your image's vista on show - congratulations! waytogo.gif waytogo.gif waytogo.gif
