Mars is back!

Here is my attempt of sketching it on Sept 12th. Seeing was good and it could support more than 300x in binoviewer. Now I have to get higher power eyepieces to exploit those moments of good seeing as mush as possible.

Vedran,

Excellent sketch of Mars. I really like the texture of your sketch.

Detailed capture is also impressive.

Frank :)

Vedran,

Very nice drawing! I sit under the jet stream so I'm almost never able to use 300x. 200x is more likely and just not quite enough for Mars. I'll add calm steady air to my reasons for another visit to Croatia!

Thanks,

Joe

Thanks all for watching and commenting.

We had a spell of very good seeing here in Croatia, few nights ago friend was able to push magnification to 600x on 12" dob.

I can get good picture at 470x, which is very rare treat here. Most of the time we are limited to 200-250x.
