I made a post a few weeks ago with a version of M16 that I did, I took the images for this rendition of the Lagoon Nebula during the same week in August.  This was a learning experience as well.  I re-stacked and re-processed this at least 3 times.  I use an un-modded DSLR, so I know I missed a lot of the Ha in the area, and more exposures would have helped as well.  Here it is, let me know your thoughts.  Thanks.

Orion ED80 w/flattener reducer

Canon T6 (unmodded)

Orion St80A w/Zwo 120 mini

Orion Sirius mount

Captured with NINA and PHD2

Processed with DSS, Startools, and Photoshop

68x90 sec images (took 80, rejected some for clouds)

darks, flats, bias

I think it looks great.  The stars appear to be round and you have a great deal of depth in the center.    I'd be proud of that one, my friend.

clear skies!
