Super clear night last evening and temps have finally dipped into the low 50'sF.

Not nearly as good as what I often see here; but still a fun evening.

 

Nikon D0300s un-modded

AT 72 ED II w/flattner

EQ6R Unguided

 

2 min subs X 30

20 darks

20 flats

20 bias

 

Star Tools and a little Adobe; scaled & full field images.

Very nice image. I would tone down the blue a bit.

Nice image, indeed maybe a bit less color.

 

Startools does a bit a strange job on stars imo. I tried it this morning, got an image allright (pacman) but i  got also very blue, yellow and even green stars...

Thanks. Yes, I tend to get a little carried away with Adobe after Star Tools.

I’m still trying to get a handle on ST. Ivo has been a great help to me in another thread.

I looked at the RGB color balance in Adobe a and it seemed to be ok, although I agree with you,

i would prefer that my stars don’t look so chunky. Part of that could be the large pixel size of my dslr.
