Taken this morning in brisk 5degC temps. Finally got my focuser working again. Only 3/5 seeing and transparency. This time, I added a small spacer on my ASI290MM to boost the f-ratio to 6000mm (f15), was f13, cut the frame rate to 250 (down from 300) and increased the RGB runs to 2min (up from 90sec). Also, this time I did not merge multiple RGBs in WJ, only the "best one". I also gave up on the game controller after accidentally parking the scope 5x and went back to the synscan hand controller. I was trying to be patient waiting for improved seeing, but conditions seems to get worse and the cold set in. I hate to admit that I should have been using hand warmers, but really in September? It seemed too early. At the end, I had put in my 13mm Nagler (300x) + Denk contrast filter and the views were pretty decent with an absolutely huge bright disk. Hope you like it

Regards,

Steve

Roberto, thank you! I completely forgot to click on the the "Use Linked Wavelets" so I reprocessed the same data with improved results, except ice cap is still clipped. It's too bad Reg6 Scheme Save does not remember this...

Steve
