Hit Jupiter with x200 last night, but the view was not stable enough, so I dropped down to x160 - much better! So I enjoyed watching Io transit, finishing my sketch just in time to see the moon egress at 0915h UT. Plenty of other details to see, though no northern storm(s) that I could discern.

I found out the same thing. In not so stable air delicate detail comes out better with less magnification. This is especially true for Jupiter and Saturn.
