Hi folks,

Mars as seen from Belgium (Europe) in very good seeing condition with my beloved Takahashi TSC-225. The resolution of this picture must be very close to the theoritical limit of a 225mm aperture scope. I'm so impressed by the performance of that scope.

Cheers,

Olivier

This is great Olivier!  It seems we were all very lucky with good seeing across Europe and the US at the beginning of the week.  It's gone downhill here in England but hoping for some nice weather between now and opposition.

Thanks Roberto. Indeed the weather and seeing were very good across Europe during the last few days. I hope you could enjoy these nice weather conditions as well from England. My picture of Mars is the best I have ever seen captured with a TSC-225 thanks to the excellent seeing. During those perfect nights I could use amplifications up to 750x with a 225mm aperture scope without loss of contrast and quality. That was incredible! I hope to get the same conditions around the opposition.

Best regards,

Olivier
