If you’re looking for a no nonsense in-line filter holder for your astro imaging rig, then the nPAE Theia could be just what you are looking for.

The key feature is the magnetic sleds which will hold your filter in exactly the same position no matter what the orientation of your scope is. The coupling is achieved with 4 neodymium magnets with a pull strength of 1.27 lbs (0.58 kg) each.

Each Theia comes with 3 sleds and more can be purchased so you will not be limited in your swapping options. As an in-line unit there are no off axis weight considerations to balance. The long neck allows for back focus adjustment. The nose is internally coated with Gerd Neumann deep black optical paint to eliminate tube reflections.

As with all nPAE products the Theia is CNC machined from a single piece of 6061 aircraft grade aluminium.

World famous astrophotographer Damian Peach has reviewed the Theia, which you can read on our website.

The Theia and sleds are shipped in the super tough mini Cerberus case.
