The data for this image was compiled mostly during the last dark window.  The smoke and haze are built into the image.

 

I included the workflow I used in PixInsight below. I was a little sloppy when I processed the data and you might notice some artifacts if you look at the image on your computer monitor, however, it should look  fine on your phone.

Either way it captures and documents the extent of how the the wildfires out west have effected the sky thousands of miles away to the east.

Wow thanks!  I actually have almost 26 more hours (44 hours total) of smoke filled data for this object that I may try to incorporate at a later date.  I

I used a Celestron Edge HD 8 with a 0.7x focal reducer and a Canon EOS Rebel XS (Full spectrum modified); Astronomik CLS CCD clip-in filter
