I don't do the Ice Giants very often....when I think of it and I haven't done it in a while. Yesterday I thought of it, but tried color, which was fine...if you like a billiard ball. After taking a peek at some images on J-ALPO, I remembered...needs IR. So today after finishing with Mars, I slewed over and got around an hour in IR685, 5 x 10 minutes. Here is yesterdays #6 ball and todays IR, greyscale and false color. This is my best result in getting a bit of detail...maybe I'll try again tomorrow. The RGB is 4 x 10, simple average combine, the IR and false color is 5 x 10, combined in Winjupos.

Wow very nice! And there appears to be some detail. Also you disk edge is nice and sharp. Mine have always to be a bit amorphous with no real edge. Very cool

Nice job Yock! Much better than anything I got so far on Uranus and Neptune.
