Jim,
Do you, or anyone else, know how one would contact Sky Instruments? I might have to send a 10mm WA back for service. I found the SI home page and they mention the repair service, but there is no contact info, email address or phone number. I am confused :-)

Bob
Opening my white pages shows Sky Instruments at:
175-6755 Graybar Rd.
Richmond, BC
604-270-2813
I tried calling them and got 'ring-no-answer' - didn't get voicemail so can't confirm the number is good. Today is a holiday (Canada Day) so they most likely won't be open even if the number is good.
Call the number tomorrow and see what happens.

Thanks Jim,
Just found it a little odd that they would mention the repair service and give no info on how to take advantage. Their site mentions nothing but 2 fax numbers for vendors, nothing else. I will try the number next week.

For anybody that's interested, part way down on this page is a mini-review of the Antarres Speers-Waler Eyepieces (scroll down)

Well, on the 5-8 Speers-Waler, he got a the field of view incorrect. The apparent field is *measured* at 78.5 degrees no matter what the focal length is set to. This is one area where the old TF = AFOV/Mag formula fails miserably. On mine, at the long focal length point, and "equivalent" field stop diameter for the eyepiece is about 11.3mm, while at the shortest focal length, its about 7.7mm. The eye relief is indeed about 12mm, which isn't exactly "long" but isn't terribly short either. Clear skies to you.

Jim,
They just say that the fax numbers at the bottom of the page are for the use of retail distributors. I am going to be gone tomorrow through Monday, so I am going to call the number you gave me on Tuesday.
