Has anyone had a TEC cooler replaced in a ZWO out-of-warranty cam?

This is so far hypothetical--both my coolers are working just fine. It interests me because I'm thinking of possibly buying a used OSC camera, and the main thing I'd worry about is TEC failure. And one of my cameras *is* 3.5 years old, though still going strong.

So--has anyone had their cooler fail and have it replaced by ZWO? If so, how much (approximately) did it cost in money and time? TIA for any replies.

I have had 10 year old SBIG 8300s cooling fan rubber mounts dry rot and replaced them myself, plus upgraded the fan while in there.  But the TEC never failed.  Have all QHY stuff now, I think the odds are low for TEC replacement on any brand, something else would probably go before a TEC.

Interesting, I would've thought that the cooler would be the weak spot!

My oldest camera is a 2009 QSI532 and the TEC cooler is still working fine.

I was wondering if the older CCD cameras had better-built coolers, but apparently nobody's cooler has broken down and there are ASI1600's that are close to 5 years old, so...
