Hi all, please excuse my newbieness. I primarily do lunar observing with this rig which is a Celestron C6-a on a Astro-tech Voyager 2 mount. I want to start some lunar close-up imaging. As you can see I have my Canon XSi attached. The ota is 10lbs. With the camera and Telrad (I know, I don't really need it for lunar work),it's not even close to 11lbs. I'm looking at the ES mount for lunar tracking. Does any one have experience with this mount? Is it adequate in operation and load bearing capabilities? Thanks in advance!
