Catching up on a rainy day. Amazing how busy one can be in retirement! The animation is the one I took while an explosive event was taking place on the opposite limb! Some really interesting movement inside this prom, like a fountain going up and raining back down as well as an arch attached to it. You can tell the seeing was variable as the limb is a bit wavy during the animation. Skyris236M, Lunt LS60T DS, iOptron CEM25P. Other images with the ASI174 where indicated.

Full disk the next day, 10/17/2020, before clouds rolled in. Notice the small surge prom on the Western Limb

Nice animation. I saw that one and was going to try to capture a live animation wit SolarLiveView but my seeing was so poor that there was really none of that detail visible at all.

Thanks Dave, too bad on the seeing, it would have been interesting to see how your software would have worked on that one!
