All,

My printed version came in today. It was two days early compared to the tracking information and estimated delivery information I got.

I must say that the packaging of the books was exceptional. There was a waterproof outer plastic cover, an inner padded plastic Priority Mail envelope, a fitted cardboard Priority Mail box, than the books in a thick slip-cover shrink-wrapped in plastic. I have rarely seen such meticulous packaging for other books I have ordered.

While I have been using the PDF copy, I like to bookmark pages with post-it notes in the Process Reference guide as work through experiments in processing techniques.

John

Been reading the pdf while my books are in transit.  I really like his writing and approach!  I hope to move from a "processing by the numbers" approach based on the youtube vids, and getting more into seeing what I have and knowing what to do.  And realizing that knowledge needs experience to really make a difference :)

Im interested in owning these. I thinks its strange that M45 and the California look blown out on the cover of the book.

I've learned quite a bit from the PDF, looking forward to the 'paper' experience! grin.gif

I received my copy yesterday.  Amazing production.  A very heavy box showed up and I did not realize what it was at first.  As others have stated, it was well worth the wait.

I am enjoying it. As a beginner it is really helping me understand what does what. I still can't get PI to calibrate and integrate my files though. I'm still having to use DSS to taker care of that part, but I'm sure i'll get there eventually.

I have now received my book, and it's a *very* nice production. The book is almost like a hardcover that you can comfortably open and lay flat on your desk as you process your image. There's actually *two* books in a slipcase. Exceeded expectations, and worth the wait.

If someone's wondering whether to only order the online version, trust me, order the paper one as well. You'll be glad you did.

I ordered both the book and the digital copy and I was expecting an email or something with the download link for the pdf version but so far nothing.

The books are sitting with customs now so I should have them sometime next week.

How/when  did you get your digital copy?

I got my digital copy *many* months ago.

Just drop Rogelio a note. His email is RBA@deepskycolors.com. It's not as if he has a staff of thousands :) I'm sure he'll take care of it as soon as possible.

I had a quick look at the PDFs and this should have been the user guide included when purchasing PI.

Good job!

I ordered the PDFs Friday (a bit less than 22Euro) got the links today (so 2 days later, during the weekend) Check your spam filter if it takes longer than advertised on the website.

My eyes aren't good enough for a paper version. Also I prefer having a search function.

It looks like I'm customer 2326 so business is going good wink.gif
