I hacked a 4x5 back onto an old Bausch & Lomb 24" f/6.0 aerial reconnaissance lens and mounted it on my telescope.

I then broke out a sheet of 4x5 Provia 100F with 2005 expiration .. it had been kept in the freezer and so was as good as when it was popular for astrophotography.

Shot this and developed it myself.  I *think* it was 2 hour exposure.

And the Burke & James Press camera back that I hacked onto it.   Note the light-proofing high tech electrical tape to block stray light between the back of the tube and the holder.

Very nice image you got there..

I love the tube and tube rings you came up with..

How long did it take to find the focal point?

Haha quite a while. Maybe 20-30 minutes turning the very fine threads on the lens cell and going back and forth between the front and then viewing the ground glass. :)
