IC 10 is an irregular Dwarf galaxy in Cassiopeia. It has an HII nucleus, extensive active star forming regions, and is the only known starburst galaxy in the local group of galaxies. It is a challenging target because it is obscured by stars and interstellar dust as it lies in the Milky Way plane. This is a repeat attempt using previously obtained subs incorporating unused data and newer processing techniques.

Far from it...I think everyone is just too stunned to comment.  If one is familiar with IC10, one realizes just how incredible this image is.

A really good result on a difficult target.  Best I've seen for this galaxy.

I think its awesome. That HII region looks weird! I like it. You got the stars colors in a good shape as well. :)

Very very cool!  I knew this was out there but almost never see amateur images of it.

Now I want to learn more about IC10!
