There seems to be a new book project is in progress about Planetary Nebulae:

One volume is already out (high price) from in total 3 volumes. No information about an English version.

Guys, I think I am done, at last. A fellow member just sold me his copy or Uranometria, so for the time being, my daily checks into availability are over.
And, considering I am not sure more titles will ever be published that interest me, this may be it for good.

We’ve all said that before about books and eyepieces, good luck with not buying anymore. smile.gif

I have stopped buying eyepieces more times than you can count.

I fear this is the case.  S&T will not publish any new titles, just keep selling the old W&B titles until they run out or we all are sated.

They have already released at least one new title since they took over WB.  There was a new edition of Antonín Rükl's Atlas of the Moon.  When the print run was out, they were out again.  Technically it was printed by Aventinum, but it was sold on the Shop@Sky website.

True.  I was thinking more along the lines of actual astronomy and telescope making books like much of the W&B collection (outside of the continuing Annals set).

Thanks to Doug Herren, this is it for me (who am I kidding?).

Seriously, I am so grateful to Doug who agreed to sell his copy to me.

If you have a specific table (area of the sky) you are interested in, I will take a picture and send it to you.

Like many others here, I seem to continually check the WB inventory - earlier today received a copy of Star Testing Astronomical Telescopes (2nd Edition) by Harold Suiter. It had been on my wish list for some time.

Night Sky Observer's Guide Volume 1: Autumn and Winter

this title has been out of stock for long. Is it in the W&B warehouse waiting to be rediscovered, or not?

I have purchased some other titles that came back in stock on S&T shop. They did go out of stock and went back in, except NSOG vol. 1.

It may be but no one here knows more about the inventory than you do and, sadly, apparently no one at AAS either.
My last exchange with them was a loooong time ago, the nice fellow provided a very clear explanation of the situation which, at that time, could be summed up with "There still are pallets and pallets of boxes of books in the warehouse/s in Richmond, we have no way to know the contents and we only find out when, periodically, we drive a trailer load of them here and open them up".
It is a wait and see game which, at this point, has crawled down to a halt instead of picking up steam like we all expected (I suspect AAS too).
By digging old catalogues etc going back to the time before the sale, someone seems to have been able to rule out a few titles from ever resurfacing but, again, I do not believe that is an official and definitive piece of info, more of an informed guess made by sleuths who tried to connect dots.
Patience, eBay, the classifieds here, etc are pretty much all we can use, sadly.
Good luck to you and do not lose your faith, stuff shows up from time to time. I posted a "wanted" ad a few times and no one replied but I know of one person who was searching for another title and he got lucky by following that strategy, you may want to give it a try. It is free (here), so it doesn't hurt.

waytogo.gif  That's my own basic understanding of the situation.   I suspect there are still unopened boxes of Uranometria and NSOG vol. 1, etc. still sitting in a warehouse.  I sure hope that they get unpacked at some point and that they don't go out of print.

I'd be thrilled to find "Telescopes, Eyepieces, Astrographs," by Smith, Ceragioli, and Berry if anyone can assist. Thanks!
