Does anybody know what's going on?  Is it permanent or just because of the plague?

I just ordered and received a book from them last month. Hope it isn't permanent!

I received Ronchi screens from W-B in the past week or two.  What makes you think they are closed?  I ordered online and received confirmation and prompt shipment.

I've had no problem with them.

Edit: Just saw they were closed too bad.

Wow I hadn't heard of them until a week ago, and was looking for Ronchi screens. The search continues I guess.

How sad. I always looked forward to seeing them at NEAF.

I hope it's not permanent.  My last order was October 13th and was shipped by Patricia and received within a few days.  No better resource for books.  Gil

Glad I got while the getting was good!

Any chance this could be moved or copied to the books and media part of CN?

Janame on the other thread talked with him on the phone. Doesn't sound too good for the astro community at this point.

They are more than just books. ATM supplies so it really should stay here but it wouldn't hurt to mention it over there.

This could use some visibility in ATM. Hopefully there is a solution other than just shutting the business down.

I wish them well and cannot fault another for retiring. But I do hope another publishing concern picks up some of the titles so that such references as the Night Sky Observer's Guides are not lost. That would be a terrible loss.

Here's the link to a larger discussion in Astro Art, Books, Websites & Other Media. Going to lock this now but temporarily pin it for reference.
