Can someone tell me the last version of the firmware and patches that are advised for the LXD55? I don't want to update past the point of being usefull.

If you have the original Autostar #497 that came with the LXD55 mount, then the latest firmware version is 43Eg. Autostar firmware is not exclusive to the LXD55.

If you have later versions of the Autostar, then download the appropriate firmware version from Meade. There are also custom patches from third party sites.
