Cloud been a bugbear this week. This morning I wanted to try and bring out those spots associated with AR2778 in single stack. Reasonably happy with the 2 separate images here and the one color. Double stack was beaten by the clouds but its been a good 3 days of learning. By the time I can get back to good ole Sol will be mid next week if the cloud gods allow. Thanks again for looking!

Very nice imaging.  The group to the upper left has been named AR2779.

Thanks for this Dan. Just been watching The Solar Dynamics Observatory video that JasonH has so well put together for our enjoyment. Absolutely amazing seeing AR2779 bursting into view.

Shoveled the snow of of my deck and set up early yesterday pm. Seeing and transparency were ghastly. Captured some video but not worth processing. However it did make up for it by being windy. I know morning is a far better time for solar observation but it was 20 deg F and I am 76 yr old so that was a no go.

Regards,

Tom
