Hello. Starizona Hyperstar  V4 is Available for 1300 USD. someone is selling used V3 of Hyperstar for Celestron CPC EdgeHD 1100.

please advise the difference between V3 and V4 because price difference is too much. For my Celestron CPC EdgeHD which is better or should I go for used V3.

Thank You.

Have you talked to Dean at Starizona about the difference?

The key differences are right there on the v4 info page: https://starizona.co...yperstar-c11-v4

"Version 4 is faster at f/1.9, has a larger imaging circle of 35mm, and produces significantly improved 25% smaller spot sizes. The design of the housing has also been modified to improve the ease and accuracy of collimation."

Like most things like this, you could get the v3 used, see if you like it, and then upgrade if you see limitations or want the benefits listed above. Or like many, just go all-in and get a RASA.
