Here's a Carton Mini G including the mount and an eyepiece. Looks pretty good.

https://m.ebay-klein...6393723-240-288

I remember these, very nice scopes for the time, but they're competing with small apos now, or would be if they were still being made.

Hate to see what shipping would cost.  I would love it if i had the space.

But the objective and focuser and ship that, retube it with aluminum irrigation pipe.

Hmm..that's not airspaced? I wonder what's this from

There's a good chance it's a Towa as everyone I've ever seen had a ring spacer.

That is all that is for sale anyway.  The seller does not want to ship the tube.

Here's something unusual, just a little rust... smile.gif  Make sure you have your tetanus shot before visiting.  Does anyone know what this is / was?  Labeled as a "military telescope" thought not complete.

That is sad, and apparently ancient.
Also, asking a bit for something that is very, very iffy and that you have to move/excavate.

I find it amazing how they manage to show so much but somehow always manage to skip showing the objective lens.

They must be offering to pay someone $250 to remove it for them.

Looks like a Tasco 7TE at an estate sale near Newburgh, NY.

https://westernmass....7231739690.html

Sale started today and continues tomorrow. Also a lot of sculptures. If you're into that, Newburgh is near the incredible Storm King museum (which is nearly all outdoors).

Looks like the Tasco 152 Power Version circa late 1957 give or take.

From the continuing rain of Edmunds comes this -

4.25" Deluxe Space Conqueror

Looks in great condition, but a bit rich for my blood.

Storm King is awesome. Went on a date there a few weeks ago.

Might check out the sale, but doubt the scope is still there.

I'm always wary when they don't show a clear shot of the objective.

Everywhere but cloudynights and astromart are awash in scopes being sold without showing the lens/mirrors or other pertinent parts.  A lot of the sellers just

do not understand how to present them.

Makes sense.  I've tubed a 5" f15 lens with wood, it's too much of an insulator.

Complete early Sears 60x900 kit (6333?) in Montreal, silver tube, not Haint Blue. Everything looks to be there, even the tray light. Looks to be in good condition but $300 CAD?? Seems high to me.

$300 is about 3x too much, IMO

It looks like a Sears 6305, similar to a 6305a.  The 6305a is a step up.  I have/had both.  I gave the 6305 away to a local person.

You can see the differences:

focuser compare.jpg

The tripod legs on the 6305a were a little beefer too.

Tal-M, great price, local pickup...

https://www.ebay.com...p/203191319028?

EDIT -

Not sure if I should have shared this here, as I am not entirely sure if this qualifies as a classic scope. Admins, thoughts?

Meade 80mm x 1200mm, circle T.  Looks nice, but . . .

https://www.ebay.com...IMAAOSwSdFfubGr

. . . it's not a RAO lens, so the price is way too high, IMO.

At least 4X what it’s worth. Otherwise, yes, they are fine little Newts!
