C9.25, 2x Barlow, & ZWO 290 MC.  2500 images stacked in AutoStakkert

and processed in RegiStax 6.

Was that the "ZWO ASI290MM MINI CMOS" that you used?

It was the older cmos version not the mini.

Great picture. Last night was perfect for viewing Mars. Just pulling some seriously fantastic detail of the face of the planet.

SgrB2, thanks for sharing the photo, very nice capture. I too was observing these same features on the 7th but could not identify it for certain.

This has been an exceptional year for us all with our Mars observations. Last Saturday was a very sparkling clear, with average seeing, night here, a rarity.
